We’re looking for a seasoned CNC Lathe Programmer & Setup Technician to bring their skills to our client’s fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment where quality and efficiency go hand-in-hand.This is your opportunity to work with advanced equipment, collaborate with a skilled team, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that drive real results.Shift: 6:00am -2:30pmHourly Rate of Pay: $27.00What You’ll Do:Program CNC lathes for optimal performance, including twin spindle/twin turret machinesSet up machines for production runs and ensure first-off qualityTroubleshoot and resolve programming and setup challengesOptimize existing programs to minimize cycle times and boost productivityOperate machines when programming/setup is not requiredConduct in-process inspections using precise measuring tools (micrometers, height gauges, etc.)Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement Lean improvementsPerform light assembly work during cycle times, ensuring part qualityCarry out preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work areaFollow ISO, FEM, and Lean Manufacturing best practicesWhat You Bring:5–10 years of hands-on experience in programming and setting up CNC lathesStrong knowledge of bar feeder and chucking operationsProficient with live tooling and complex machining technologiesAbility to read technical drawings and interpret GD&TSkilled in precision measurement and inspection techniquesExperience with castings and ISO-certified environments is a strong assetFamiliarity with CAD software such as SolidWorksCrane training and CMM experience are considered assetsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skillsPassion for process improvement and Lean methodologiesWhy You’ll Like Working for Workforce Inc:Competitive hourly wage + 4% vacation pay paid weekly via direct depositTemporary to Permanent positionHands-on role with cutting-edge equipment and advanced machining technologiesOpportunity to contribute to process improvement and shop floor excellenceA collaborative, safety-first culture that values innovation and expertiseReady to take your CNC programming career to the next level?
