Responsibilities

• Monitor quality by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes and adjusting and/or reprogramming control while adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
• Familiarity with CAD programming software, modeling, and manufacturing
• Prepare CNC programs and setup machine
• Support machine setup and operation personnel
• Modeling/Design of surfaces and support structures, nice to have
• Emphasis is placed on a continuous process of improvement
• Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
• Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 year degree in machining, preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to work in a Team environment
• Experience with CNC mills and lathes
• Ability to machine all types of materials (steel, aluminum, stainless and plastics)
• Must be able to read precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, depth gages)
• Must be able to read a print, have good communication skills, and have good math skills
• Must be able to read and speak English
