Job description: Responsibilities of the position:

• To execute local company/group policies, control procedures in general accounting.
• Ensure compliance with local legal requirements with superior quality.
• Oversee the accuracy and timeliness on related posting.
• Performed a good collaboration with local team and GSC team.
• Ensure period end close of book on time with high quality.
• To closely follow up on emails and other information obtained from colleague to ensure good data quality on process.
• Collaborate with auditor and make sure request managed on time with excellent quality.
• Build up good working relationship with key stakeholders and have deeply understanding for their business needs.
• Back-up leader for team management.

Measurement / success criteria of the position:

• Ensure every general accounting posting in book aligned with policy and with sound supporting.
• None or Minor items pointed out by internal and external auditors.
• Follow the internal control requirement mitigation accounting risk.
• Ensure meet the closing timeline and accuracy.

Learning opportunities in the position:

• Professional accounting knowledge for IFRS and Local GAAP
• Internal/external communication skill.
• Financial reporting, such as reconciliation, facilitation reports.
• Across culture communication

Requirements for the position (Looking for):

• Solid background in finance and accounting area, specially have Japan or South Korea’s company experiences, special for Logistical industry.
• Language Speaker with Korean preferentially.
• Adaptive learner
• Strong responsibility and ownership
• Result and quality oriented with high sense of urgency
• Prior experience of working on ERP system would be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS office, viz, Word, Excel, etc.
• Familiar with MS Outlook & Internet
• Effective communication skills – should be able to independently communicate with stakeholders via emails, telephone, etc. by English/Korean
• Good personal attributes – Matured, confident & a team player
• At least 5 years ATR working experience
