Job description: Area of work:Our unit is embedded within the Chief of Staff/IT Strategy department, which supports the leadership team in financial steering across the CIO/COO organization. Serving as the central interface between Division Management, corporate central functions, and the various market business segments of the Deutsche Börse Group, the department is responsible for effective interface management and the development of well-structured solutions as decision proposals.As part of our newly formed unit, you’ll collaborate with teams from IT, DevOps, Finance, and various Business Units to enhance visibility, accountability, and efficiency in our cloud operations.If you combine strong analytical skills with solid business acumen, enjoy solving complex challenges, and are passionate about shaping the cloud financial framework strategy for a major international organization, then this role is for you.We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Cloud Cost Analyst to join our Cloud Financial Management & Cost Optimization unit. You will play a key role in analyzing cloud consumption trends, supporting financial planning, and helping to optimize cloud spending across the Deutsche Börse Group.Your responsibilities:

• Support the development and refinement of the FinOps framework.
• Analyze cloud usage data (GCP, AWS, Azure – across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and identify optimization opportunities.
• Monitor cost trends and forecast cloud spend using tools like Apptio, GCP Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, and internal dashboards.
• Develop and maintain reports, KPIs, and dashboards to track financial performance and allocation.
• Assist with tagging policies, chargeback models, and budget control processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Engineering, and Finance teams to validate cost allocations and drive cost-efficient cloud architecture.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and automation of cloud cost processes.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud cost management, financial analysis, or IT financial operations.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP); experience with AWS and Azure also welcome.
• Strong Excel/Power BI skills; knowledge of FinOps tooling ( Apptio, or similar).
• Understanding of cost optimization strategies such as rightsizing, idle resource cleanup, and automation.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills in English.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner certification (a plus).
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or IT chargeback/showback models (a plus).
