About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and driven Clinical Lead, ACAS – Regional (RN4 or AHP4) to provide clinical and professional leadership within the statewide Aged Care Assessment Service (ACAS). This senior role may be classified at either RN4 or AHP4 level, depending on the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience. With a clear focus on service performance and quality, you will be responsible for the administrative, managerial, clinical, and functional oversight of regional ACAS operations to ensure delivery aligns with the Aged Care Act 1997, My Aged Care Assessor Guidelines, and both State and Commonwealth performance benchmarks and legislative requirements.You will lead a multidisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring timely and effective assessment management across the region. Working closely with the director, other clinical leads, and the business support manager, you will contribute to the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of ACAS services. A critical part of this role involves overseeing training and induction programs and supporting the professional development of the ACAS workforce to meet evolving service and compliance expectations.About YouYou are a qualified and experienced allied health professional with a strong leadership background and a passion for delivering person-centred aged care services. With deep knowledge of clinical standards, workforce development, and consumer engagement, you’re equipped to lead multidisciplinary teams in driving service excellence across the ACAS program.Hold a recognised qualification in Social Work (eligible for AASW membership) or in Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy (with AHPRA registration).Minimum 3 years post-registration experience, with demonstrated leadership in allied health and experience supervising teams and students.Proven ability to lead change, engage consumers, and develop innovative, person-centred models of care within complex service environments.Sound knowledge of aged care standards, legislation, and contemporary allied health practices related to ageing and community care.About CALHNAt Central Adelaide (CALHN), we’re shaping the future of health through excellence in clinical care, research, and innovation.
