Through integration and collaboration, we’re building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whānau-centred care, and excellence.About the RoleAs a Clinical Capital Programme Planner and reporting to the National Manager, Health Technology Planning & Administration, you will support our Health Technology Management (HTM), Asset Management, and Capital Portfolio teams. You will lead planning, monitoring, budgeting, analysis, and reporting for Health New Zealand’s (NZ) Capital Portfolio, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration across various functions.About the TeamWe are a small team that are committed to advancing healthcare through strategic management of health technologies. Being an emerging business unit within Health NZ we are seen as a strategic partner. We have a collaborative mindset and an ‘all hands on deck’ approach. The ground work is done but we need you to bring order to the chaos.About youYou will ideally be familiar with Asset Management best practices from an equipment management approach.
- Proven experience in project management, budgeting, or assest management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools for tracking and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
- You bring a collaborative attitude and commitment to working with colleagues to achieve results, while sharing knowledge and expertise to foster team development.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
