We are seeking a dedicated Client Services Manager to join a passionate Homecare team in Whangārei. This full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM) has been created to manage an expanding caseload. You will oversee and coordinate support staff delivering personalised care to individuals with complex, long-term needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Coordination: Oversee care services, ensuring seamless and effective support for service users.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong connections with service users, their whānau, and health professionals to enhance service delivery.
  • Team Support & Development: Assist in recruiting, training, and providing feedback to support workers to ensure high-quality care.
  • Roster Oversight: Manage staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage and continuity of care.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Conduct in-home safety assessments to maintain a secure environment for service users and caregivers.

What You’ll Bring

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic and supportive approach
  • Proficiency with computers and rostering systems
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong time management skills
  • The ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Cultural awareness and the ability to support people from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience in the healthcare sector (a relevant qualification is an advantage)
  • Previous leadership experience in a coordination or managerial role, with rostering expertise
  • Conversational skills in Te Reo Māori are beneficial but not essential
  • Applicants must hold a full New Zealand driver’s licence and have permanent work rights in New Zealand.
