About the job:

  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is evident
  • Complete cleaning on time and within allocated hours set by company
  • Clean using provided specialised equipment and chemicals as per training
  • Ensure a productive and professional relationship with staff members, clients and all contractor personnel
  • May be required to check the quality of cleaning in other rooms

Minimum Expected hours: 30 hours per weekLocation: 327/343 Frankton Road, Queenstown, STH 9300, New ZealandAnnual salary range: $46,269.60 – $46,800.00 (excluding contributions to KiwiSaver)Hourly rate range: $29.66 -$30.00 p/h (excluding contributions to KiwiSaver). Breaks will be taken at times agreed to by the employer and employee or when the law says breaks must be taken. Leave Entitlements: As per Employment New Zealand – Leave and holidays | Employment New Zealand and Holidays Act 2003.Period of Notice: Four weeksQualifications

  • 0 – 6 months experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded
  • Physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to handle repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
  • Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided)
  • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests, team members, and contractors
  • Positive attitude, team spirit, and a strong work ethic
  • Availability to work 7 days per week, 7am – 2pm
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays as required
