As a Claims Assessor, you’ll be the first point of decision for new workers’ compensation claims. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in autonomous, high-stakes environments where empathy, critical thinking, and fairness matter.What You’ll Do

• Investigate new claims and determine eligibility with confidence.
• Gather and assess information from workers, employers, and providers.
• Make and communicate claim decisions, including declines.
• Manage a daily caseload and meet performance and compliance KPIs.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in claims, insurance, legal admin, or fast paced government services (e.g., Centrelink or Grants Officers).
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Exceptional emotional intelligence and resilience to handle distressed customers.
• Confidence delivering tough news with professionalism and empathy.
