Someone who’s naturally empathetic and finds joy and pride in making a genuine difference – because you’ll be doing that from the moment you start work each day.We have two exciting opportunities (8 months secondment and permanent role), for Claims Consultants to join our Consumer Property teams in Christchurch. The purpose of the role is to manage a portfolio of claims in accordance with best practice to deliver the brand promise in a cost effective manner.Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage customer relationships, interactions and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery of the service promise.
- Manage claims in accordance with best practice and authority limits to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the service promise to the customer and minimisation of claims leakage.
- Proactively develop and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners to ensure: ongoing relationships; Vero market and brand perception is developed and maintained; and effective claims outcomes are achieved.
- Liaise with Claims Supply and supply partners to adhere to best practice for claims appointments in order to facilitate the timely, accurate, efficient and cost effective handling of all claims.
- Identify and escalate claims beyond expertise and/or authority limits to ensure: process adherence; customer satisfaction; protection of the Vero brand; and minimisation of claims leakage.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes and participate in their testing, in order to contribute to the overall efficiency and cost effectiveness of the Claims Operations function.
.What you will need to succeed:
- At least 2 years of industry experience is preferable Desired
- Extensive customer service experience – face to face and/or telephone
- Experience with claims management systems e.g. Solvit/Lotus Notes/Toolshed/web preferable
