Job description: The Civil Tendering Engineer plays a crucial role in the construction and building industry, particularly in the tendering process for civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating with various stakeholders to secure contracts. With a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience, the Civil Tendering Engineer must demonstrate a solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.Responsibilities: * Analyze project specifications and requirements to prepare comprehensive tender documents.

  • Conduct detailed cost estimation and budgeting for civil engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information for bids.
  • Evaluate subcontractor proposals and negotiate terms to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Prepare and present tender submissions to clients, highlighting the company’s strengths and capabilities.
  • Monitor and track tendering processes, ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather relevant project insights.
  • Maintain a database of past tenders and outcomes to inform future bidding strategies.
  • Provide technical support during the tendering process and address queries from clients.
  • Continuously assess market trends and competitor activities to enhance bidding strategies.
