Job description: Civil Project Engineer – Structures & Heavy Civil (Auckland)I am seeking a number of talented and motivated Civil Project Engineers with experience in structures and heavy civil works to join a leading contractor for a prestigious project based in Auckland. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading civil contractor, where your expertise and skills will contribute to the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the execution of civil projects, particularly in structures and heavy civil works
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure timely and quality project delivery
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to meet project goals

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in civil engineering, specifically in structures and heavy civil projects
• Proven ability to run and manage teams of junior engineers and subcontractors
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (ideal but not essential)
• Demonstrated experience in managing project scopes, timelines, and budgets
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and under pressure
