This individual will play a vital role at the center of our dynamic sales organization based in China, collaborating with Cerence ai’s Sales, Finance, Professional Services and Legal teams around the globe. Activities encompass deal/forecast management, deal review and approval processing, administrative support, sales and revenue analytics and the continued search for process improvements.Role & Responsibilities

• Schedule/attend weekly team forecast calls; drive tracking consistency; take minutes and publish to Sales Mgmt as necessary. Calls are typically in Chinese, minutes published in English.
• Assist with revenue and booking forecasting, quarter end reporting and planning.
• Participate in doc prep – such as responses to RFQs/RFPs, tenders, proposals.
• Initiate deal review deck prep; collect source docs (proposals, PEs, volume forecasts) and stage for commercial ops.
• Ad hoc research to support deal review; deck prep.
• Monitor China region opportunities, including manage reminder and follow up to team to keep forecast current and relevant.
• Backstop Commercial/Sales Ops other team members for publishing worldwide as needed.
• Support China Account Managers with Customer account Issues, including customer portal issues and royalty reporting delinquency follow-up.
• Collection support in Mandarin, including weekly reporting with updates on open AR, customer outreach to collect and withholding tax certificates when required; reviewing/confirming certificates match open withholding tax balances.
• Support international Accounts Receivable and Tax with China country and language specific issues; translate documents and invoices as required to facilitate invoicing and collections; distribute to customer with copy to AR team.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual Chinese (Mandarin) and English (verbal and written).
• Deep familiarity with MSFT suite (Outlook/Word/Excel/Ppt).
• Strong financial skills – Excel modelling experience.
• Experience with, or some understanding of, local tax laws and international payment issues.
