Join us on this journey of innovation and expansion as we continue to make impactful strides to developing and expanding our business.Job DescriptionThe main role of the Chief Accountant is to oversee the accounting operations within the assigned organization. The Chief Accountant ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported in a timely fashion and play an active role in helping to develop and implement the company’s overall accounting strategy.Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full accounting and payroll functions (including performance appraisals) for the Czech entity;
• Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance and support where necessary to ensure smooth operations;
• Ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and statistical reports in compliance with Czech legislation;
• Take ownership of cash flow management and optimize financial efficiency;
• Lead the monthly financial reporting process, ensuring alignment with Group requirements and deadlines;
• Coordinate and manage tax and financial audits, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors.

QualificationsExperience & Qualifications Required:

• A university degree in finance, accounting, or a related field;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, with proven leadership experience considered a strong advantage;
• ACCA certification or a comparable qualification;
• Professional proficiency in Czech and English, both written and verbal;
• Advanced expertise in Excel and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications;
• In-depth knowledge of Czech tax and accounting legislation, with practical experience in handling complex financial systems;
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics/Navision or Business Central is a plus;
• High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure;
• A proactive and positive mindset, with a willingness to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
• Strong sense of accountability, discipline, and precision in your work.
