Surveil, Analyze, and summarize the critical material or chemical substance related regulation and legislative activity.
Coordinate the surveillance and broadcast of critical material or chemical substance related legislation and regulation to the business
Examples:
Create and distribute Chemical Regulatory Notices (CRN) or “news alerts” to key internal stakeholders.
Input regulatory/legislative summaries into internal company software.
Using various tools, coordinate the tracking of substances being pursued by local and global regulatory or legislative bodies throughout the regulatory/legislative timeline.
Occasional special projects may be requested, depending on available time.
Qualifications:
A successful candidate will have:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working with consumer products industries, especially complex durable goods industries.
Working knowledge and understanding of global material or chemical substance regulations and legislations which may impact the auto industry.
Demonstrated analytical and reporting skills, such as issuance of reports to communicate technical matters to stakeholders.
Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), adobe acrobat
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Problem solver with a customer-first approach and excellent interpersonal skills
