A key focus will be to apply your detailed understanding of Data Governance, Data Management and Records Management to grow and shape the approach to how we mitigate risk and deliver functional governance at ASB, as well as developing domain knowledge within the chapter to deliver value.You’ll be able to balance the competing priorities of work quality, consistency and simplicity to ensure the right things are being done. Determining standards, polices and guardrails and how we operationalise these things across the people, process and technology at our disposal will also be yours to own. This role will appeal to someone who thrives on collaborating with and educating others to deploy capabilities and deliver to expectations.Ō pūkenga | About youYou already have deep technical expertise and detailed understanding of data governance, and extensive knowledge of business functions and how they consume Data, ideally in a Financial Services sector. You understand data and how it’s use can both create and mitigate risk. You are passionate about pragmatic solutions to complex problems and delivering a long-term strategy of sustainable uplift.It will be your people-centered approach, and the ability to get the best out of the team through empowerment and recognition that will set you apart from others. You have a proven track record of being able to create a learning and growth focused working environments, as well as a collaborative leadership style that enable you to take others on a journey.
