Job description: Multiple Casual Academic positionsClosing date 6 June 2025 at 11:59pm AESTAbout This OpportunityThis is a call for applicants for Casual academics in the School of Political Science and International Studies in support of our course offerings in Semester 2 2025.Casual academics will typically be engaged in a range of duties, including (but not limited to) tutoring; marking; teaching and moderating/facilitating. Casual academics are remunerated according to the category of their duties, as detailed in UQ’s Enterprise Agreement.Please click for a list of POLS courses, plus one PPES and one POLY course which are likely to need tutors. Please indicate a maximum of six courses you are interested in teaching into. Although you will be asked to state why you have picked a course your response is optional.NB: Tutoring opportunities are reliant on course enrolment numbers and some courses at postgraduate level may not attract sufficient enrolments to require a tutor.Please note that these opportunities are subject to The University’s .What We Can OfferThese are casual appointments.
