Job description: Cash Application Specialist, Operations Customer to CashAbout the RoleIn this opportunity as a Cash Application Specialist, you will:

• Process customer payments: This includes receiving and verifying payments, recording payment details, and updating customer accounts.
• Apply payments: Accurately applying payments to the correct invoices or accounts receivable.
• Reconcile accounts: Regularly comparing payment records with bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies: This may involve contacting customers about short payments, incorrect payment information, or outstanding invoices.
• Generate reports: Preparing and presenting reports on cash flow, outstanding payments, and other relevant metrics.

About YouYou’re a fit for the of Cash Application Specialist if your background includes:

• 1 to 2 years relevant work experience in Cash Application position or environment (B2B)
• Ability to work independently and contribute to broader team objectives.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage time amid multiple deadlines.
• Amenable to work on an early or mid-shift schedule.
• Good communication skills
