Job description: The CAD Technician / Operator will work within the Technical-Design department in coordination with the Survey team. This position utilizes computer-aided drafting system to provide support to engineers, architects, design staff and clients by producing clear and technically accurate volumetric drawings based on design specifications. This position will collaborate with Technical Office teams members preparing information to DJV to provide a set of As-Built Drawings conformed to reflect revisions after the Construction Documents Submittals were issued as RFC Documents incorporating Design Changes and account for actual field conditions and other changes as applicable. This position will collaborate with Technical Office and Quality team members reviewing DJV As-Built drawings and comparing them with RFI information on the relevant drawings as the RFI is approved.Responsibilities:Utilize computer-drafting techniques to generate work plans, construction drawings, volume reports and as-built plansUpdating software, drawings, and other documentsRemaining professional when feedback is delivered and implementing any changes to drafts as soon as possiblePerform earthwork and general quantity calculations from survey dataGenerate accurate and detailed as-builts drawings and modelsAssist with the development of field fit designs and analysisMaintain an organized file systemPerforms related work as requiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Data collection and evaluation techniquesPractical experience with CAD software and CIVILStrong communication skills and attention to detailSuperb work ethic and ability to accept feedbackRequirementsExperience/Qualifications:Degree or Diploma in survey, drafting or acceptable combination education and or experience.Working knowledge and experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D,Reading and understanding civil engineered construction plansSurvey data processing – GPS and conventional is highly desired but not requiredMinimum of 3 years of CAD experience required

Expected salary: $87000 – 110000 per year
