Job description: The Western Australia Police Force is seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to serve as the CAD Support and Capability Manager, contributing to the successful implementation and management of advanced communications technologies within the State Communications Division.As a strategic thinker and proactive leader, you will ensure the continued development and operational support of critical systems, such as the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and associated technologies. Your contributions will directly impact the operational effectiveness of the WA Police Force in supporting frontline officers and improving community safety.THE ROLEThe CAD Support and Capability Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the technical management, support, and enhancement of CAD systems, ensuring their reliability and effectiveness in emergency response and communications. With a focus on technical leadership, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration, you will:

  • Manage the implementation of CAD-related projects, delivering innovative solutions that meet the agency’s strategic goals.
  • Provide technical expertise and oversight for system configuration, disaster recovery planning, and operational testing.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including government and non-government agencies, to ensure seamless integration of CAD capabilities.
  • Lead a team of dedicated professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
