We are looking for an enthusiastic CAD professional or civil designer to join our established and growing Buildings Civil team. Our team work on civil engineering only and a variety of multi-disciplinary projects.This role includes civil design and documentation across a range of projects and sectors. Projects range from early concept design and master planning to detailed design and construction documentation.This role provides a rewarding career path with a global engineering consultancy working on iconic projects.Stantec have a proven track record of working on some of Queensland’s greatest projects and have a strong pipeline of future work. To date Stantec have been involved in:Herston Quarter Re-development Technical AdvisorsDefence Estate Works ProgramQueensland Health Capital Expansion Projects (various new hospitals and expansions)Build to Rent (BTR) housingHousing Investment Fund advisorsParkland Revitalisation and RedevelopmentsMasterplanned Community subdivisionsSunshine Coast Hospital Technical AdvisorsCommunity and Recreational Assets flood recovery programsDay to day tasks would involve:Technical design and documentation utilizing AutoCAD with base level use of 12D or Civil 3D.Preparing conceptual and detailed design documentation sets for projects including land subdivisions, unsealed and sealed road infrastructure, drainage and culverts, sewer & water systems as well as associated infrastructure.Complete, review and validate design drawings and documentation with a high focus on qualityInterpret civil design requirements of State Government, Local Government Authorities and private sector clients such as published standards and codes.Design collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, designers and BIM modelers.
