Job description: A leading Skilling & Training company in the field of Advanced Manufacturing seeks a CAD/CAM Trainer to join their team.Qualifications:
B.E./B Tech in Mechanical, Production (with about 5 years of experience) or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, (with about 7 years of experience)
Skills Required:
5 years hands-on experience in CAD/CAM technology.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar programs.
Ability to create 2D and 3D models, assemblies, and drawings.
Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Knowledge of quality tools and various industrial quality control techniques.
Proficiency in CAM software for generating toolpaths and CNC code. Examples include Mastercam, Siemens NX CAM, or Solid Cam.
Understanding of machining processes and the ability to optimize toolpaths for efficiency.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications for designing and manufacturing components.
Other Desirable skills:
Capability to develop training presentations, handouts, and supplementary materials to enhance training programs under guidance.
Able to contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of training operations.
Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Ability to create effective assessments to evaluate the understanding and progress of learners.
Skill in providing constructive feedback to support learner development.
Clear and effective communication skills to convey information, concepts, and instructions to learners.
Ability to adapt communication style to different learning styles and audience levels.
