Job description: Position TitleCAD/CAM EngineerIndustryManufacturing (Electronic Packaging Systems)LocationBayan Lepas, PenangSalaryRM 6,500About the JobSeeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to oversee the design, development, and optimization of CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis milling machines. This role is responsible for preparing and scheduling CAM files, operating CNC machinery, and ensuring efficient and high-quality production processes. The ideal candidate will verify part dimensions using precision measurement tools and continuously improve CNC programs to enhance lead time, accuracy, and output quality. Additionally, the role provides technical support to the tooling department, assisting with troubleshooting and refining manufacturing processes as needed.Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for design developing, editing, and generating CNC programs for 3-axis/5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Perform scheduling and preparation of all CAM files for the CNC machining process.
• Responsible for the fabrication process to operate CNC milling machines and ensure smooth productivity.
• Perform verification on workpiece dimensions using designated measurement equipment following mechanical drawing.
• Carry out continuous improvement on CNC programmed to optimize CNC process lead time, accuracy, and quality.
• To support the tooling department in troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process and improve the CNC program if needed.

Qualifications & Experiences Needed

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalents
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in related CAM programming using Master CAM or SolidworkCAM or SolidCAМ.
• Experience in resolving issues related to the CNC process.
• The ability to operate CNC milling and CNC EDM machines will be an added advantage
• Familiar with ISO systems.
• Technically competent with good analytical skills, result-oriented, proactive, resourceful with a high degree of independence and perseverance
