Job description: Job Description:About the roleWe are looking for Systems Specialist to play a pivotal role in ensuring our People & Culture systems run seamlessly while supporting key business initiatives. You will identify opportunities for improvement and leverage Oracle HCM solutions to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.You will be supporting a critical platform in our business that influences everything from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee engagement. This role not only allows you to leverage your technical expertise but also gives you the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally.Key responsibilities of this role include..

  • Collaborate with Safety, People & Culture team to understand current and future needs, translating those into technical requirements and enhancements for the HCM system.
  • Ensure the system remains aligned with organisational goals through continuous updates and development. You will proactively identify opportunities for process improvement that drive the business forward.
  • Troubleshoot HCM issues and errors, quickly resolving them along with root causes.
  • You will also act as the primary key contact for all technical aspects of the HCM system, addressing queries, providing guidance and ensuring strong communication across teams.
  • Oversee regular system upkeep to ensure optimal performance and compliance.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role working within Oracle or similar HR system.
  • Experience with system configuration, integrations, data manipulation and reporting tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues quickly, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
  • Strong time management skills to balance multiple projects, enhancements, and support tasks.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and business-friendly manner.
  • A forward-thinking approach in identifying opportunities for system enhancements that drive business value.
  • Willingness to learn and stay up to date on system trends and best practices.
