Job description: The Business Strategy & Investment Analyst will play a crucial role in assessing new product feasibility, financial returns, and investment risks. This role involves analyzing market trends, sales targets, and return on investment (ROI) while providing strategic recommendations to the Managing Director (MD). The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and long-term profitability.Key Responsibilities:Strategic & Financial Analysis:

• Conduct feasibility studies for new product launches, evaluating market demand, competitive landscape, and profitability.
• Develop financial models to assess investment costs, expected revenue, and return on investment (ROI).
• Analyze sales forecasts, pricing strategies, and cost structures to determine the commercial viability of new initiatives.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the MD based on data-driven insights and business objectives.

Business Decision Support:

• Act as a strategic partner to the MD, offering expert advice on business expansion, capital allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess business performance to ensure alignment with targets.
• Evaluate potential business partnerships, acquisitions, or investments that align with the company’s growth strategy.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis:

• Conduct industry research to identify emerging trends, customer demands, and technological advancements.
• Benchmark the company’s performance against competitors and suggest improvements.
• Provide insights on economic conditions, regulatory impacts, and supply chain challenges affecting investment decisions.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Reporting:

• Liaise with finance, sales, and operations teams to gather insights and ensure comprehensive investment analysis.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and briefs for executive decision-making.
• Represent the MD in meetings and external engagements when necessary.
• Ensure all investment proposals are backed by rigorous analysis and risk assessments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, financial planning, or strategic investment roles.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data interpretation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of market research methodologies and competitive intelligence.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
