This is what #LifeAtBNY is all about.We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Business Process Improvement & Best Practices (Conventional Trust) to join our Operational Change team. This role is located in Manchester, UK, and will work a Hybrid schedule (3 days per week in-office required).In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Independently defines and gathers requirements for business process improvement using analytics provided by more junior team members. Uses own judgement, complex decision-making abilities and extensive industry experience when determining a plan of action.
  • Leads best practices initiatives involved with the implementation of multiple large, full-scale projects or a portion of a complex, function-level project.
  • May enlist and co-ordinate the support of more junior team members
  • Uses extensive experience and industry knowledge to recommend more efficient solutions if necessary. As well as readying existing processes for automation.
  • Supports testing of new or enhanced applications and/or systems. Tasks include case development, requirement traceability analysis, test preparation, script writing, and functional test execution
  • Coaches and provides guidance to more junior staff, may enlist their support on projects.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5+ years of total work experience preferred. Technical experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the software development process (can be through scrum/ lean agile or standard SDLC).
  • Knowledge or qualifications relating to UI/UX practices.
  • Experience or knowledge of Corporate Trust business is desirable.
