Job description: Job Title: Business Mobilizer (Female)Department: ProgramJob Purpose: Increase community participation and awareness through community engagement, behaviour change communication,social / business mobilization strategies and trainings, , especially of women farmers in target communities.No. of positions 4Location (s) Gilgit – Baltistan (1 Gilgit, 1 Skardu), Punjab (Lahore), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Peshawar).Reports To: Project Coordinator / Team LeadSeniority level Junior- to Mid-levelPosition Summary:The Business Mobilizer (Female) will play a key role in engaging communities, identifying potential businesses, and mobilizing resources for the successful implementation of the project. The ideal candidate will have strong networking skills, experience in business development, business coaching, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project goals.Reporting & SupervisionThe Business Mobilizer will report to the Project Coordinator / Team Lead and will work closely with project team.Specific Responsibilities:

• Identify, engage, and mobilize local businesses, entrepreneurs, and community members to participate in the project.
• Conduct field visits to assess business needs, opportunities, and challenges.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business owners, local authorities, and industry partners.
• Organize and conduct awareness sessions, training programs, and networking events.
• Support businesses in accessing financial and technical resources to improve their sustainability and growth.
• Gather and analyze data on market trends, business performance, and community needs.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop business strategies, action plans, and progress reports.
• Facilitate linkages between businesses and service providers, financial institutions, and market opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate project activities, ensuring targets and objectives are met.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on mobilization efforts, challenges, and success stories.
• Any other task assigned by the supervisor within the area of his/her expertise.

Person Specification:ATTRIBUTESESSENTIAL CRITERIADESIRABLE CRITERIAExperienceMinimum Five (5) years of experience in business development, community mobilization, or entrepreneurship support.Strong networking, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Experience working on donor-funded projects or community-based initiatives is an advantage.Skills & CompetenciesComputer literacy with demonstrated use of word processing, database, and presentation software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Canva, etc.).Fluency in written and spoken English. Spoken Urdu and Pashto is desirableWillingness to travel within project areas as needed.Excellent writing and communications skills in English required.Qualification / KnowledgeA Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized university in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
