The BI team’s mission is to drive growth by maximising efficiency, providing insights and influencing critical decisions throughout the Live Nation UK concerts and festival business. Our business is fast paced with ever changing demands and generates a vast amount of data relating to some of the biggest tours and festivals in the UK. Our objective is to streamline that data, transform it into easily accessible and interpretable insight and get that insight to the people who need it, when they need it. By the end of 2026, we aim to have all our stakeholders confident accessing the data they need via Tableau. We have mature data structures, databases and paginated reporting tools, but are at the beginning of our Tableau journey.We are looking for someone who has technical experience in Tableau dashboard design, QA and governance, as well as being business focussed and excellent at stakeholder engagement. You will need to be able to gather stakeholder requirements, identify the metrics needed to meet those requirements and design easily accessible, visually appealing dashboards to surface those metrics. You will be able to understand the complexities of the business and design a Tableau site to support various stakeholders, as well as monitor, maintain and expand it long term. Ideally, you’ll also be confident interpreting data and sharing your insight directly with stakeholders.This role will work closely with teams who deliver our festival portfolio as well as IT teams, so the right person will thrive in a dynamic environment, building relationships with non-technical colleagues and be comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.What it’s like to work in the TeamWe are a small team with big impact at the heart of the business and our scope is ever-expanding.   • Demonstrable experience of building, designing and managing complex Tableau dashboards using multiple datasources inc. data warehousing and APIs
  • Demonstrable experience cleansing and blending different data sources using Tableau Prep
  • Demonstrable experience administering and governing a scalable Tableau cloud site, ideally from its infancy
  • Demonstrable experience publishing, refreshing and auditing centralised datasources in Tableau Cloud
  • Confident writing complex queries in PostgreSQL or SQL (other coding languages considered)
  • Solid understanding of visual dashboard design principles
  • Confident gathering dashboard and insight requirements from a variety of non-technical stakeholders
  • Confident analysing data; identifying, sharing and presenting insights in a relatable way
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Clear and concise written communication skills
  • Experience working with Salesforce data pipelines, Heroku and/or Databricks desirable
  • Previous experience of working with live entertainment industry, hospitality, retail or customer experience desirable

What the role includes

  • Establish, govern and scale Live Nation UK’s Tableau cloud site in line with Live Nation global Tableau best practices
  • Understand how our business works, what KPIs we track and identify the best data points and pipelines to support them
  • Gather dashboard requirements from a variety of stakeholders and ensure we have the right data structures to deliver the dashboards
  • Design, QA, and maintain insightful Tableau dashboards to provide our key stakeholders with the data they need
  • Play an active role in Live Nation Tableau Champions group, influencing best practice for the use of Tableau globally and in the UK
  • Work with BI Director to identify new data sources that would enrich Business Intelligence data
  • Deliver complete insight and analysis projects as requested by stakeholders / VP Business Intelligence
  • Lead Tableau training for Business Intelligence team and other analytical functions across the business.
  • Roll out and encourage self-serve Tableau use to the wider business.
  • Assisting Business Intelligence team with any other duties as required
