Job description: Position Overview: We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst who possesses strong technical skills in Tableau and SQL. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing insightful dashboards and reports to support business operations and drive performance improvements. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, extract and analyze data, and develop interactive dashboards to empower decision-makers with timely and relevant insights.Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business objectives.
Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources using SQL queries and ETL processes.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and translate findings into actionable insights.
Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau to visualize key performance metrics and KPIs.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency by implementing data quality checks and validation procedures.
Optimize dashboard performance and usability for enhanced user experience.
Provide training and support to end users on accessing and interpreting dashboards.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data visualization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role, with expertise in Tableau and SQL.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
Hands-on experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server for dashboard creation and distribution.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, MicroStrategy) is a plus.
