Job description: Please note, this post is permanent and full-time at 37 hours per week.We are looking for an experienced and passionate Business Engagement Co-ordinator to lead on Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) which is an essential part of our income generation and work to support the regional economy. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact leading on KTPs to help us achieve our research income targets.In this role you will:
- Support the development, implementation, and delivery of strategies to increase the quantity and range of University’s knowledge exchange products and services
- Drive up the number of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships we deliver working closely with academic colleagues and industry partners
- Raise the profile of the innovation agenda and the University’s expertise and ambition with internal and external stakeholders to support partnership development and external income growth
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience or understanding of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
- Excellent communication and relationship development skills to showcase to internal and external partners what the University has to offer in relation to Knowledge Exchange activity
- Ability to demonstrate technical compliance of funding programmes particularly Innovate UK and KTPs
- Driven to meeting external funding income generation targets through a buoyant KTP portfolio and forging strong KE opportunities aligned to our academic colleagues income targets and expectations
