Job description: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (HUNTER ROLE)Job Overview:We are seeking a highly driven, self-motivated Business Development Representative, a hunter who excels at building relationships from scratch, thrives on making cold calls, and consistently tackles call blocks to generate new business. This role is perfect for someone who is energized by identifying and pursuing new leads independently-no inbound leads provided. You will be responsible for developing a robust pipeline through phone outreach, networking, and creative prospecting tactics, ensuring consistent growth and success for both our customers and our organization.Key Responsibilities for Business Development Representatives:Prospect & Lead Generation:

  • Conduct daily cold calls and execute strategic call blocks to engage potential clients.
  • Independently research, identify, and target new sales opportunities in assigned markets/territories.
  • Qualify leads through probing questions to understand their business needs and challenges.

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers.
  • Establish credibility and rapport by demonstrating genuine interest and knowledge about their industry.
  • Continuously follow up to nurture relationships, ensuring a robust and active sales pipeline.

Pipeline Management & Reporting:

  • Track and document outreach activities, client interactions, and progress in CRM software.
  • Accurately forecast and report on sales metrics, such as pipeline health and deal progress.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product) to align messaging and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop tailored solutions and pitches based on each prospect’s specific needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product/service offerings.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to refine your approach and improve conversion rates.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly quotas for pipeline growth and closed deals.
  • Approach quota attainment with a results-driven mindset, continuously seeking ways to improve sales performance.
  • Demonstrate resilience and adaptability to maintain a high output of activity and outreach.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Experiment with new prospecting strategies and communication methods.
  • Attend workshops, training sessions, or conferences to hone selling skills and product knowledge.
  • Share feedback and best practices with the broader sales team to foster collective growth.

Qualifications for Business Development Representatives:

  • Experience: Proven track record in a hunter sales or business development role, preferably with an emphasis on cold outreach.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Persistence & Resilience: Comfortable facing rejection; driven to persevere and achieve goals in fast-paced environments.
