Job description: The CompanyA Waste Management and Resource Recovery company that creates custom-made and tailored services to its customers for the collection, remediation and disposal of industrial, clinical, chemical and by-product waste in solid, liquid and gaseous forms.Ensuring that customers are treated with a personal hands-on experience with meticulous planning and execution emphasizes their commitment to exemplary service, environmental remediation and accident-free collections for their customers.The PositionThis company is looking for a Business Development Manager to join them, working in Melbourne, with a strong mix of in-office, on-the-road and WFH (working from home) in an effort to build a strong portfolio of customers.Other facets of the role are:

• Drive growth of the business through the business development and managing accounts
• Create bespoke and tailored proposals for new customers
• Maintain a sales pipeline
• Manage key accounts once incepted
• Manage new and existing tenders
• Regular reporting back to State and Head offices
• Liaising with Operations and Accounts teams for full overview of customer accounts

The CandidateIn order to be considered for this role the ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar Business Development Manager role within the Waste Management / Collections marketplace
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft suite)
• Industry experience within Waste Management – either solid waste collections, liquid and technical services or HAZCHEM
• Is a strong communicator and analytical problem solver
