Our client, a leading player in the cybersecurity space, is searching for a dynamic Business Development Manager to build and scale their commercial function from the ground up.As Business Development manager, you will be at the forefront of our client’s growth journey. Your responsibilities will include:Sales Leadership:– Define and implement a B2B sales strategy across key verticals (public sector, finance, retail).
– Build and manage a scalable sales process, ensuring robust CRM, pipeline reporting and forecasting.
– Develop tailored pricing, packaging and proposals to meet diverse client needs.
– Engage directly with strategic accounts and support key deals.
– Recruit, train and lead initial sales hires as the team expands.Marketing Leadership:– Design a comprehensive full-funnel marketing strategy, encompassing brand, demand generation, content, digital and events.
– Establish metrics for lead generation, campaign ROI and conversion rates.
– Create compelling collateral: case studies, white papers, social content and webinars.
– Manage relationships with PR, design and media vendors to elevate the brand.
– Enhance the visibility of the brand nationally and internationally.Collaboration:– Partner closely with executive leadership to align on company objectives.
– Collaborate with technical teams for content and product marketing.
– Assist with RFPs, tenders and compliance documentation as necessary.What You Bring:– 7+ years of experience in B2B sales and/or marketing leadership roles.
– Background in cybersecurity, enterprise tech, managed services, or IT consulting.
– Proven track record of building and scaling go-to-market functions from scratch.
– Deep understanding of the Irish and UK enterprise markets.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
