Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toNational Sales Manager – MotionYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within the Motion Business, in line with the local and global strategies. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. You will promote and sell VSD’s (Variable Speed Drives), PLCs, Electric Motors and systems as well as related products. The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid. Ideally you will be based in Christchurch covering the South Island territory. This role is contributing to the Motion business in the South Island. Main stakeholders are End Users, Consultants, EPCs, System Integrators, Channel Partners and OEMs You will be mainly accountable for: •Identifying and developing sales opportunities ensuring a strong opportunity pipeline. •Managing relationships with existing customers within the targeted industry sectors and developing new relationships with potential customers. Identifying opportunities at existing and potential new customers, determining plans for acquisition and proposing sound technical and commercial solutions. •Establishing and managing sales plans for your region & / or customer list focusing on sales growth. •Supporting business initiatives for industry segments and channels, in alignment with local and global strategy. • Ability to demonstrate your experience in Front-End Sales roles in B2B organisations in industrial sector.
• Possess an enhanced technical knowledge of industrial processes and applications.
• You are innovative around selling VSD’s (Variable Speed Drives), PLCs, Electric Motors, Generators, Power Quality Products, projects and systems as well as related products.
• Electrical or Electronics Engineering qualification, or equivalent experience.
• You are at ease communicating in English.
