  • Grow Uniphar Sales and Market Share through the creation and development of relationships and commercial arrangements with our retail pharmacy customers and shareholders.
  • Manage and optimise Uniphar’s Gross Profit margins from its commercial agreements with customers.
  • Sell and promote the Uniphar offerings to the market including Link Up, Pharmasource and Central Billing, Photographic and Veterinary.
  • Reporting and presentation of sales and market performance against company targets.
  • Promote and the support the recruitment of franchisees to the Uniphar franchise model – Life and the Uniphar Co-Op Symbol Group.
  • Grow and expand the number of retail pharmacy shareholders and communicate the Uniphar corporate messages, trading performance and strategy to customer/shareholders.
  • Business Advisor to Pharmacy on how our customer can improve their business and profitability.
  • Work with Uniphar colleagues across the various functions including Commercial, Operations and Shared Services to improve the Uniphar service offering and overall customer experience.
  • Assess new opening opportunities and determine and recommend support levels from Uniphar.
  • Match pharmacy buyers and sellers to retain existing and win new business.
  • Develop relationships with manufacturer sales representatives to optimise transfer order business through Uniphar.
  • Input into and delivery of the Uniphar sales and business development strategy.
  • Lead and deliver other projects and initiatives as required by the business.
  • Represent Uniphar at all times in a professional manner and attend industry events and company events that are attended by customers. E.g. IPU AGM, Uniphar AGM, Roadshows etc.

  • 3rd Level Business Degree / Sales Degree or relevant industry experience
  • Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Wholesale and Retail Pharmacy Market

  • Proven track record in achieving Sales targets, selling Business to Business

There will be an element of hybrid working available, but this role will also involve travel to our global sites.
