Job description: Intro AVVie is an exciting early stage medical device company with an innovative, minimally invasive technology for the treatment of mitral valve disease. If you are interested in joining a young and international start-up active in medical technology in Vienna. Tasks Primary responsibility is to support the company’s business development efforts, focusing on funding, investor relations, and strategic partnerships to enable growth and innovation in the MedTech field. Identify funding opportunities, including grants, investors, and venture capital, and prepare applications or proposals. Build and maintain relationships with investors, industry leaders, and strategic partners. Conduct market research to identify opportunities and support business decision-making. Collaborate with the executive team to align business goals with technical and clinical milestones. Prepare and deliver presentations, business plans, and pitch materials for investors and stakeholders. Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities. Monitor and report on business development metrics, including funding progress and partnership activities. Requirements Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in business development, ideally in the MedTech or healthcare sector. Experience in a start-up environment is highly preferred. Basic understanding of MedTech markets and regulatory environments. Strong networking skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. Experience in preparing business plans, funding proposals, or similar materials. Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
