A Level 4 Market Research Apprenticeship will be provided alongside this position.About Hogan LovellsHogan Lovells is a leading global law firm known for its extensive practice areas and deep industry expertise. The Birmingham office opened in 2015 and has several practice areas including Corporate/Commercial, Disputes, Finance and Real Estate, as well as their Legal Delivery Centre and Business Team departments.About the Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Business Development and Strategy apprentice will support the Global BD and Strategy team within the Marketing and Business Development (M&BD) Department. The role will be closely involved in aspects of the operations of firm-wide central projects.

  • Conduct desktop research using online searches, company websites, annual reports and proprietary research tools
  • Support team projects with competitor, legal, and market research for client and firm-specific research projects
  • Summarise research from various sources for client targeting and business development
  • Monitor news for client-impacting events and industry trends that create business opportunities
  • Compile financial reports and analyse data for the M&BD team and firm management
  • Support the production of quarterly financial presentations for regional, practice, and sector teams
  • Assist in the M&BD budgeting process, developing an understanding of how the budget is allocated across office and practice areas

Working WeekCore working hours will be 35 hours per week from 9:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Hogan Lovells provides an opportunity for hybrid working arrangements, allowing employees to work three days a week in the office and two days from home.Benefits

Training InformationTraining will be with Swarm Training, a national apprenticeship provider in the UK. The successful candidate will work towards a Level 4 Market Research qualification, which takes 12-18 months to complete.
