Additionally, the team perform exercises and technology readiness testing, integrate lessons learned for process improvement and maintain and evolve supporting policy and technology solutions to build operational resilience throughout the Firm.A resilience professional is required to be part of the BC team in implementing its’ global program and roadmap, locally in Glasgow and regionally across EMEA.The combined role of Business Continuity Planning Coverage / Project Manager in Glasgow requires you to work as part of a global team to support strategic BC Planning program development and fulfilment of internal and external planning and testing requirements. The team is focused on driving continued enhancement to the Firm’s Business Continuity Planning standard to ensure the impact of potentially disruptive incidents can be responded to robustly and promptly in alignment with business objectives and regulatory expectations. The function is also responsible for program governance and reporting, and development and support of Business Continuity tooling and transition of enhancements into production.The Business Continuity Planning Coverage element of the role requires you to provide subject matter expertise to both enhance and expand existing programs around Business Continuity Planning and the testing of Business Continuity Plans to ensure that, during a business disruptive incident all Business Units will be able to recover and perform critical business processes and limit the impact of the incident to the Firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of these enhancements by working closely with stakeholders from across the organization.The threat landscape is constantly changing, and it is essential that the candidate be able to keep pace in this incredibly dynamic environment.
The Project Manager element of the role requires you to manage Business Continuity project deliverables, which drive continued enhancement to the Firm’s Business Continuity Planning standard, on an EMEA and/ or global scale.What we’re looking for:
