Our BC finance client is looking for someone with the skillset for an initial 4 month contract with the option to extend the contract term by an additional 3 periods of 6 months each at the client’s sole discretionAdvantages

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Business Requirements Documentation, Process Mapping and Impact Analysis
• Map, analyze, and document design decisions and business processes, identifying areas for improvement
• Translate business requirements into functional requirements from Procurement and other stakeholders
• Assess impact of detail requirements against initial design from earlier phase of the project (Discovery)
• Document the requirements for impacted reports and systems, including potential integration points/connectors
• Identify and document business and data requirements to support decision-making and management reporting
• Support data conversion and migration activities where necessary
• Confirm requirements have been properly incorporated in the configuration of the platform
• Testing, Training & Knowledge Management
• Work closely with Technology to define and plan appropriate testing approaches
• Develop and support the execution of test scenarios, test cases, and test plans to validate system functionality and design
• Document and track defects during test, working with implementation partner, technical teams to ensure timely resolution
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinating stakeholders, tracking issues, and ensuring successful execution
• Support the development of end-user training and change management materials
• Ensure all relevant documentation is accessible, maintained, and aligned with organizational standards
• Support functional reporting and presentations where necessary
• Support other project duties as directed by the client

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have:

• Demonstrated experience and expertise in solutions delivery within the Workday platform
• Significant (minimum of 5 years) experience as a Business Analyst:

oParticipated in large scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / business system implementation projects
oWorking with diverse stakeholder groups from business to technical teams
oProven ability to build consensus among differing perspectives
oDemonstrated ability to document complex business and system requirements with clarity
oStrong communication and analytical skills
oExperience with data and application architecture

• Experience in quality assurance (QA), including preparation of test cases, test scenarios, and defect tracking
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including stakeholder coordination and issue resolution
• Familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools.

Preferred:

• Experience and good working knowledge in Procurement and Supply Chain core processes of source to contract and procure to pay
• Experience with Corporate Accounting, and Financial Planning & Analysis with a general understanding of accounting, budgeting and forecasting concepts
• Experience in Workday Strategic Sourcing, Financials (including Procurement), Expenses, HCM and Adaptive Planning or similar platforms (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Net-Suite, Microsoft AX) will be an asset
• Background in financial services or investment management
• Experience with data analysis within analytics platforms

• Develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
• Make sense of complex, high quantity information to effectively document and solve problems
• Proficient in Microsoft products, specifically PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SmartSheet, PowerBI
