Job description: Position Title: Business AnalystLocation: Regina, SKOverview:Charter is seeking an accomplished Business Analyst for a 12-month engagement beginning July 2025. The successful candidate will bring 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst bridging business needs and IT solutions, gathering and documenting requirements, mapping processes, and supporting organizational change. While not a PM role, this position requires strong PM knowledge and the ability to apply best practices to all phases of the project lifecycle.Previous knowledge/ experience with SDLC best practices, general understanding of application programming, and development/executing of test scenarios is required. Active Business Analyst certifications (i.e., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is required. Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines.Location: Regina, SK. Term: 12 months. Strong possibility of extensions.Qualifications and Experience:

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst bridging business needs and IT solutions, gathering and documenting requirements, mapping processes, and driving value for diverse stakeholders.
• Education: University degree in a related field; Business Analyst certifications (i.e., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is required
• Ability to understand complex processes and complex business rules.
• Ability to translate technical processes into business language.
• General understanding of application programming, database, and system design.
• Experience with SDLC best practices and functioning in high-activity, multi-initiative environments.
• Experience writing and maintaining test strategies and test plans.
• Experience creating and prioritizing test scenarios to ensure proper test coverage.
• Experience creating/identifying/reviewing and executing manual test scripts.
• Experience logging defects and enhancements.
• Procurement Document Experience
• Working knowledge of PM best practices
• Experience with agile development methodology
• Experience utilizing enterprise software, i.e., Intelex, Genetec, ASPEN, Itron MVWeb, Software AG ARIS, AssurX, Canary Systems MultiLogger, Oracle Primavera, Emerson Machinery Health Management, AppSpace, Valstone, Energy Exemplar Plexos Connect, Schneider PME, ANCILE Solutions uPerform would be a strong asset.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
