Job description: Elements Marketing & Communications Ltd. is a marketing, communications and employee engagement business. Participants will work closely with experienced professionals to support the day-to-day running of the business, assist with administrative tasks, and develop key organisational and communication skills. By the end of the placement, participants will have gained valuable practical experience and enhanced their employability in office administration, marketing support, and business operations. Throughout the programme, participants will be trained in: • First-hand experience in office administration, business operations, and start-up processes. • Work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and email management tools. • Organise and manage calendars, schedule meetings, take minutes and handle correspondence. • Assist with data entry, document preparation, and maintaining digital and physical filing systems. • Understand financial record-keeping processes, including recording payments, receipts, and processing orders. • Work with suppliers, clients, and service providers, ensuring smooth business operations. • Develop problem-solving skills to handle administrative and operational tasks in a start-up environment. • Gain exposure to industry best practices in time management, marketing administration, and customer relationship management. • Learn the importance of meeting deadlines, maintaining accuracy, and supporting business growth. • Build a professional network and gain insights into potential career paths in administration, marketing, and business support.Role Description Formal Training: • Participants will receive structured training through workshops and training sessions. • Training will cover administrative software, workflow optimisation, and business best practices. • Weekly one-on-one meetings with supervisor to track progress. Informal Training: • Hands-on training in data entry, document management, Microsoft office suite, customer service, and business operations. • Observing professionals at work to understand real-world administrative and marketing practices. • Gaining experience by assisting in real projects, troubleshooting issues, and refining organisational skills.
