Job description: Job Description:Are you experienced in WGS data quality control and analysis from bacterial isolates? Do you have a strong interest in genomics and antimicrobial resistance (AMR)? The Research Group for Global Capacity Building (GloCaB) is looking for a dedicated bioinformatician to join our team.Antimicrobial resistance is one of the most pressing global health challenges, driving a silent pandemic that affects both human and animal health. Our group plays a key role as an EU, WHO, and FAO reference laboratory for antimicrobial resistance. We provide scientific advisory services, as well as applied and implementation research, to National Reference Laboratories, international organizations, and supranational institutions such as the European Commission and the European Food Safety Authority. Our work focuses on strengthening global capacity for phenotypic and genomic surveillance of antimicrobial resistance, including the development of proficiency tests, external quality assurance, and laboratory training programs.The Job

The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. Based on your qualifications you will either be employed as Research Assistant or Postdoc. Your tasks will be adjusted accordingly.The candidate is expected to start as soon as possible.
