In this role you will get to develop MEP design/drafting assignments.What You’ll Be Doing:Work closely with BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure the project’s compliance with the given policies and processes, and to ensure timely implementation and completionWorks with BIM lead, Design Leads and Engineers to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, component details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures, and to ensure timely implementation and completionUnderstand BIM modeling process and able to manage all BIM related activities from project start up to project completionReview each drawing for readability, presentation and adherence to standards, in accordance to company QA/QC processGood knowledge in content creation and able to create different types of parametric and non-parametric familiesStrong knowledge in LOD requirementsCollaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues and model development tasksGood knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks, with experience of clash detection and producing clash reportAble to produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the modelPerform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriateWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring:Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 5+ years of GCC experience in BIM/CAD drafting for MEP projects such as pump stations, gas networks, HVAC and Mechanical aspects of metro stations/substations/MCC roomsSoftware experience required: Civil 3D and RevitCommon Data Environment: ProjectWise & BIM360.What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:Good knowledge in BIM, understand LOD requirements and BIM processes.Ability to communicate clearly in English.Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
