Job description: He angitūtanga: The opportunityAuckland Council’s Group Treasury department has an opportunity for a team member to join the Billing team on a full time fixed term basis. This is a great opportunity to build your experience in a large and well-known organisation.The team provides a shared service for Council and selected Council Controlled Organisations, so you’ll get great exposure across a range of organisations.As a Billing team member, you will be responsible for working through high volumes across Accounts Receivable systems. The focus of your work will be on resolving customer queries.Please note this is a fixed term position for 6 months.For a copy of the position description please clickYou will undertake a variety of tasks such as:

• Billing & invoicing
• Credit notes and journals
• Debtor statements and refunds queries
• Resolving customer queries
• Reporting as required.

He kōrero mōu: About youIdeally, you will have experience working in accounts receivable positions or an accounting environment. Experience in large and complex or government organisations would be beneficial but not essential.You will have an eye for detail and work through large numbers of transactions with ease. You will be able to work on multiple systems such as ERP systems.A great team player that is willing to step up to help when needed, you will have an enthusiastic and overall positive attitude.
