Job description: The BD & Marketing Assistant is an integral member of the Asia Pacific Marketing Team responsible for marketing & business development duties for Hong Kong office mainly. Occassional coverage for other APAC offices may be required.Client DetailsOur client is an international law firm which is consistently ranked as upper tiers in multiple practice areas including capital markets, structured finance, and dispute resolutions.DescriptionAs a junior member of the team, you will be guided by BD & Marketing Manager and Senior Executive in marketing and business development duties for the firm, with the goal to support Partners to achieve business objectives. Specific tasks will include asisting in preparing pitch documents/response to RFPs (English and Chinese), updating marketing materials, assisting in preparing directory submissions, publishing client alerts, arranging events (incl. webinar, seminar, networking event), managing social media and website content, and others as assigned by supervisor.You will be given opportunities to own specific projects and develop yourself as an independent BD & Marketing professional, with training and guidance from your seniors. You will also polish your stakeholder management and project management skills.ProfileThe qualified candidate should have obtained a bachelor’s degree and proficiency in English and Chinese (including Mandarin). Strong writing skills in English and Chinese are required. Prior experience (1-3 years) in marketing communications (or business development in law firms) is required. Experience from other professional services firms is required, while law firm experience is preferred.
