- Assist to prepare and validate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements, as well as Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations
- To perform duties of fund accounting fund administration, and to conduct reconciliations for all fund transactions, including trade matching, payment instructions, relevant reporting, and to ensure accuracy, to identify reason / root cause of discrepancies
- Provide supports on daily operations across pre- to post-trade lifecycle, and payment processing
- Manage exceptions that may arise and ensure timely and appropriate level of escalation pertaining to client-impacted issues
- Support ad hoc projects assigned by team head / section head. Liaise with business partners on user requirements, participating and monitoring pre- and post-system enhancement/deployment till project timeline
- Work closely with checker on the assigned area(s)
- Maintain effective communication with clients, internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in fund administration, fund accounting, or a closely related field
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a comparable discipline
- Intermediate understanding of various investment instruments, including equities, bonds, derivatives, and futures, as well as knowledge of trade settlement, cash management, local and global custody, fund structures, and transfer agency
- Proficient in utilizing financial software such as Multifonds (MF) and Microsoft Excel, with some programming skills preferred
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Leverage proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
- Capable of implementing and enhancing procedures and controls to ensure top-notch services and smooth processes
- Proven track record in managing cross-functional initiatives, platform migrations, process transformations, and improvements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to delivering quality client service
- Self-motivated, deadline-oriented, and able to work effectively within a team environment
- Knowledge on Bloomberg, SWIFT 15022 / 20022, MT & MX messages, CMU, CCASS, DCASS, Euroclear, Clearstream, RTGS, QDII, QFII, Multifonds, Megara will be an advantage
- Highly self-motived, detail-oriented, high degree of flexibility to take up new tasks
