Our client is looking for an AVP, Private Equity Fund Accounting for a 6-month contract.About the Opportunity
Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Serve as the main contact for key private markets clients, ensuring a high standard of service and developing long-term partnerships
Service Expansion: Identify opportunities to broaden service offerings across the current client base, with a focus on tailored solutions and strategic fit
Financial Standards Compliance: Manage reporting requirements in line with international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS and US GAAP) across varied fund types
Client Growth & Strategy Support: Contribute to strengthening new and existing client relationships by improving service efficiency, delivery quality, and overall profitability
Audit Coordination: Lead the end-to-end audit process, acting as the main liaison between auditors and internal teams
Valuation Oversight: Support and review Net Asset Value calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance for private capital clients
Policy Adherence: Uphold and enforce firm-wide procedures and governance standards in all service delivery
Mandate Integration: Facilitate the successful onboarding of large-scale fund administration arrangements
Cross-Location Collaboration: Engage with internal teams across different locations to ensure consistent service delivery
Project Participation: Take part in internal initiatives and cross-border projects, contributing expertise and process improvements
Delivery Assurance: Guarantee that all client reports and tasks are completed accurately and within set timelines
About You
Industry Experience: 5+ years in fund services, private equity operations, or a related field, ideally in a client-facing or leadership role
Technical Expertise: Solid grasp of fund accounting and operational structures, with the ability to act as a subject matter resource
Client-Centric Mindset: Strong awareness of business needs and an ability to deliver customized client solutions
Leadership & Oversight: Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing workflows in a dynamic environment
Communication & Organization: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage tasks independently and meet tight deadlines
Collaborative Approach: Comfortable working across departments and with external stakeholders including clients and auditors
Accounting Qualifications: A professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is advantageous
Process Improvement: Proven ability to identify and implement automation or efficiency improvements
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with investor onboarding, KYC/AML obligations, and industry compliance standards
