We are urgently seeking a skilled and experienced AV Technician to join our client’s team in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio-visual systems for events, meetings, and corporate installations.Key Responsibilities: * Setup and Installation:

  • Install and configure audio-visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, microphones, video conferencing systems, and LED displays.
  • Set up equipment for live events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Operation and Support:
  • Operate AV equipment during events to ensure seamless execution.
  • Provide technical support to users during meetings or events.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of AV systems to ensure they are in working order.
  • Diagnose and repair technical issues with AV equipment.
  • System Integration:
  • Assist with integrating AV systems with existing IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure compatibility of systems and perform upgrades as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and system configurations.
  • Prepare incident reports for major technical issues.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an AV Technician, preferably in a corporate or event setting.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in operating AV systems, including mixers, amplifiers, and video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, Cisco WebEx).
  • Strong understanding of signal flow, cabling, and wiring.
  • Knowledge of audio calibration, video resolution, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Language: Proficiency in English is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.
  • Physical Ability: Must be capable of lifting heavy equipment and working at heights when required.
  • Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
