The Role:Experienced invoice finance client auditor to undertaking a minimum 2 audits a week of commercial & corporate clients. Based around the Midlands/South.You will spend at least 3 days on site per week so a full valid UK driving license is essential. There may also be the need to undertake new business surveys from time to time.A good understanding of business systems and collectability risk issues is essential, with the ability to identify any viability issues. Knowledge of stock finance would also be beneficial.This role may provide an opportunity to also develop in to a mentoring role to meet the needs of a fast growing upcoming business which has high growth expectations.Your contribution to the operations risk team will be rewarded with a competitive basic salary plus other benefits (after satisfactorily completion of the probation period), including an annual discretionary bonus scheme and an opportunity to join a diverse and inclusive friendly driven workplace.Responsibilities:

• Undertake audits of client debtor facilities identifying lending risk issues and make recommendations to operations / credit team to help mitigate and minimise any potential bad debt.

• Maintain high-quality service to clients as an extension of the operations team.

• Undertake new business surveys when required and make recommendations and assist with the structuring of new facilities alongside the sales team.

• All activity is undertaken within the scope of overseeing the maintenance of the collateral being funded by CBF.

• Understand CBF’s and the wider Bank’s products and services, and proactively identify and action sales opportunities in order to best meet customer needs.

• Adherence with the Bank’s AML policies and procedures, with vigilance at all times of the conduct of customers and debtors.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

• Experience of working in an Audit role within the Asset Based Lending industry with ability to complete Invoice Finance audits independently.
• Strong risk management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel.

Desirable knowledge & Experience:

• ABFA / UK Finance qualified to Certificate Level
