  • Ensures that Card and Loan (Personal Loan and Mortgages) applications are assessed and underwritten consistently, objectively, with uniform application of policy, procedure and guidelines, all of this within turned around within the stipulated Service Level Agreements
  • Responsible to ascertain the credit worthiness of individual retail customer with complete financial and cash flow analysis for unsecured lending applications
  • Maintain the SLA’s for processing applications and help in structuring loans within the banks approved policy guidelines.
  • Recommend policy and product changes to the concerned stakeholders for bringing new developments in the existing guidelines
  • Maintain consistent judgmental lending decisions to maintain a healthy portfolio and maximize profitability
  • Regular evaluation of approval/reject rates, work processes/controls
  • Proactive third party management, control of both incoming and outgoing data quality, and cost control, including overall demand management
  • Efficient consumption and resilient operations of the decision infrastructure and ongoing engagement with Risk and Products on strategy changes that improve customer outcomes
  • Ensure that Service Level Agreements for appraising the loan application are met

Requirements

  • 5- 10 years of work experience, of which at least 3 year should be in Underwriting or Credit Operations. Have a good understanding of the overall Retail Lending operations ( Pre Issuance)
  • Good understanding of Credit Bureau – CIBIL. Mus be able to interpret the bureau tradelines and taken an informed decision.
  • Good understanding of local market & retails products.
  • Good verbal, written communication, interpersonal skills.
  • One of the below qualification are mandatory:
  • FRM/PRMIA /CA/ICWA/CS/CFA/M.Com or
  • MBA Finance or equivalent or
  • MSC/MS Finance or equivalent or
  • PGDM /PGDBM / PGDRM or equivalent or
  • Certificate Examination in Certified Credit Professional – IIBF or
  • Diploma Certification Course in Risk Management – NIBM

  • As per the RBI mandated Capacity Building Certification Requirement for Bank, this role requires the candidate to have the required certification / equivalent qualification before the selection for the above role.
